About TonStake

We have run public TON staking since 2021. This page explains who we are, how we make money, where our numbers come from and how we decide what to recommend.

Who we are

TonStake began in 2021 as a set of public TON staking pools. Operating them meant answering the same questions every day: what does staking really pay, how fast can I leave, what if a validator fails? The answers led us to build KTON, an audited, open-source liquid staking protocol whose V2 launched in 2025.

TonStake.com is where we write those answers down for everyone, whichever protocol they end up using.

Our relationship with KTON

We think the honest way to handle that is to say it, use checkable criteria, and point out where KTON is not the best fit: it can pay only small withdrawals instantly, from the little Gram it keeps aside, and it is not built for DeFi use; some readers need those things.

Not Tonstakers, and not tonstake.cc

TonStake is not Tonstakers. Tonstakers is a different liquid staking protocol with its own token (tsTON) and team. Search engines sometimes mix the two names up.

How we evaluate staking options

  1. Verifiability: public audit by a named firm; open-source deployed contracts.
  2. Fee clarity: a stated number, and whether the APY shown is gross or net.
  3. Exit terms: unstaking time, instant options and their cost.
  4. Track record: how long the team has operated staking on TON.
  5. Access: minimum, wallets, Telegram support.

Yields and fees that can be read from a contract, we read, for KTON and its competitors alike, and publish on staking rates even where KTON is not first. Other facts about other projects come from their own sites and docs, and we date them. If something is out of date, tell us in the community chat and we will fix it.

Where the data comes from

Yields, stake and validator figures are read from the TON blockchain through TON Center each time the site is built, and refreshed in your browser where possible. The live data page documents every calculation.
